Daffy is the only Standard Schnauzer to qualify for the 2007 AKC Eukanuba invitational both on her Top 25 status and finishing her championship in the BBE class !
On 12/03/2006, Daffy received an Award of Excellence at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship show in Long Beach, CA. My gratitude goes to judge Ms. Theresa L. Hundt for giving this young bitch a place in her line up. Daffy was only 23 months old at the time of this win.
At 14 months of age, Daffy finished her championship in style by taking her 4th major and, like her brothers, attained all of her points from the Bred by Exhibitor class. She finished her championship on March 4, 2006 at Scottsdale Dog Fanciers Association under Judge Faye Strauss. She is a true lady. At home, she is polite and affectionate, and in the ring, she is a true champion. She loves to be shown and will show for anyone. At the Standard Schnauzer Club of Southern Calfornia specialty in July 2006, Daffy made the final cut with her junior handler, Emily Hay-Lavitt. Emily steps in from time to time when I have more dogs than I can handle, and she does a truly fantastic job with Daffy.
